Plain Speaking (No Jargon!) Accountancy in Sussex

Accountants in Sussex, Accountants Brighton, Accountancy JargonJargon. Everbody loves Jargon, don’t they?

Yeah, we didn’t think so either. Jargon is one of those things you most definitely do not want to hear from your accountant; what you want to hear is a plain speaking accountant, telling you what you need to know, in a way you can actually understand what they are saying!

Never mind all of this “Accrual, Accrued Income, Intangible Fixed Asset”, you want to know what that means to you.

Which is why, unlike a lot of other accountants, we steer well clear of Jargon! We want you to understand what we’re saying, and use our advice to grow your business; instead of sifting through a dictionary trying to work out what we are saying to you!

So, why do accountants continue to use Jargon?

Is it to make themselves sound clever? – I doubt it, if you didn’t think they were clever anyway you wouldn’t have hired them!

Is it because they enjoy confusing their clients? – As funny as it might be, I doubt that this is the case either.

Whatever it is, it shouldn’t be done! If someone doesn’t understand the advice their accountant is giving them, how much damage do you think a decision based on that accountant’s advice could do?

What you need, and what you get with Keepers, is someone who speaks to you as if you are a human being, not a dictionary, so that you can keep on top of your business, and make well-informed decisions for your business.
