Self Employed Tax Deductible Business Expenses - What Can You Claim?

Self employed, Business Expenses, Tax Deductible Business Expenses, Self employed business expenses, Self employed tax deductible business expensesSome business costs are essential.

For example, you need a phone to be in contact with your clients – money.

You need a database to keep on top of your client communications – money.

You might need a car to get to and from your client’s premises – more money.

What I’m trying to say is that (almost) everything your business needs will cost you money.

But, there are certain costs that will qualify as a tax deductible business expense; for example, all of the costs above would be tax deductible business expenses

A tax deductible business expense is exactly what you think it is; it is an expense that you can deduct from your profits before you submit your tax return, reducing the profits on which your tax liability is calculated, and therefore reducing how much tax you pay.

It is sometimes very difficult to justify what is an allowable expense, and what isn’t, and a lot of people across the country have been subjected to a full-blown HMRC investigation because they didn’t know what they claimed was not an allowable business expense.

Therefore, it is very important to know exactly what is, and what isn’t, a tax deductible business expense. We created an eBook for exactly this reason; to show you what you can claim, and what you can’t.

The eBook is called “Keepers’ Guide To Deductible Business Expenses”, and will help you to reduce how much tax you pay, whilst being sure that you are claiming allowable business expenses. You can get your free copy here.
