If you are a Sole Trader, or have to complete a Personal Tax Return, then the deadline is looming; you must have completed and filed your Self Assessment Tax Return (for the year 2010/11), as well as paying any outstanding tax, by the 31st January 2012. 

What's more, this year, if you do not file your return in time, you will be fined even if there is no outstanding tax!  

So please, if you haven't already, get your paperwork to your accountant as soon as possible, so that they can be in a better position to help you avoid a costly fine.
